Ball Knower Privacy Policy
Effective September 16, 2026Ball Knower is an independent football entertainment and fantasy platform. This policy describes the information used to operate Ball Knower and the choices available to users.
Information we collect
We may process account identifiers, profile details you choose to provide, profile photos, league activity, gameplay progress, preferences, basic product analytics, approximate country/region/city, and technical error information. Location analytics use a rotating anonymous identifier; Ball Knower does not intentionally store raw IP addresses as profile data.
Why we use it
We use this information to provide authentication, leagues, fantasy scoring, saved progress, profile features, security, support, reliability monitoring, and product improvement.
Service providers
Information may be processed by service providers required to operate Ball Knower, including hosting, database, authentication, analytics, sports-data, AI, search, and email providers. Ball Knower does not sell personal information.
Ask BK
Ball Knower does not save Ask BK conversations or screenshots in app storage or its database. The current chat is held only in memory and clears when you leave Ask BK or tap Clear. To answer a question, recent session messages, attached screenshots, and a limited snapshot of your active league and roster are sent through Vercel AI Gateway to a routed AI provider. Date-sensitive questions may use web search; generic NFL headlines may be retrieved from Tank01 without sending Tank01 your question or screenshots.
Ball Knower requests zero-data-retention and no-training routing for Ask BK. Hosting, gateway, search, and AI services may still process limited security, billing, and operational metadata under their terms. Do not upload screenshots containing information you do not want processed for the answer.
Optional AI player portraits
Only after you give permission and request a render, Ball Knower sends your selected selfie, appearance description, position, jersey number and body settings to Google Gemini to generate an image. Choosing a selfie alone does not send it to Google. The request disables stored Gemini conversation history; this is not a promise of zero retention, and Google service, security and legal retention rules still apply. Your selected photo and generated image are saved with your Ball Knower player progress. Contact support about removal or use account deletion for account-linked data. You can decline and use the non-AI creator. See Google Gemini terms and Google privacy policy.
Optional gameplay reports
If you tap Send Gameplay Report, Ball Knower saves a bounded replay containing gameplay inputs, player positions, play and defensive calls, outcomes, viewport size, and any note you choose to add. It does not capture your screen, camera, microphone, location, clipboard, account identity, or other phone activity. The report receives an unguessable review ID; anyone you share that ID or review link with can access the gameplay report.
Your choices
You may request access or correction by contacting BallKnowerOfficial@gmail.com. Signed-in users can permanently delete their account from Ball Knower's Privacy screen. Account deletion removes the authentication identity, profile photo, and user-linked Ball Knower data. If the deleting user commissions a league containing other human members, commissioner control is transferred so those users are not stranded.
Open Ball Knower → Privacy → Delete my account. The app requires a second confirmation before deletion. If you cannot access the app, email support from the email address associated with your account.
